“It was a surprise to observe that a woman, dressed in pitch kaftan, who has now been identified as a staunch supporter of a National Assembly candidate, under one of our opposing parties in the coming election, was spotted dropping fetish items at the entrance of the residence of Olododo, located on Abdulrazaq road, GRA, Ilorin.

“The fetish items, believed to be targeted at harming our principal was dropped at his entrance on the evening of Saturday 4th February , 2023 at about 5pm by the said lady, who proceeded to the suspected candidate’s residence, who incidentally, is a neighbor to Olododo after dropping the fetish items at the latter’s residence entrance.

“We wish to alert the general public and security agencies about these political desperados in Kwara state, and also state that they should be put on watchlist for any possible attack, physical or spiritual on the SDP’s candidate or his supporters, before, during and after the 2023 elections.”

The statement added that “Even though our believe is in Almighty Allah, the Author and Finisher of our faith, we have reported the case at the Kwara State Police Command for necessary action, as we believe the usual suspects may also drop incriminating items at the residence or in the vehicles of our candidate(s) or their supporters. Hence, the need to hold them responsible.

“We urge the security agencies to be more vigilante than ever, and ensure the identified culprit is made to face the full wrath of the law, without fear or favor to any politician or political party.
