NNPC Ltd. Welcomes New GCEO, Board, Commends Kyari’s Leadership

The management and staff of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) have welcomed the appointment of a new Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), Bayo Ojulari, and a new Board of Directors by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Olufemi Soneye, the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd., expressed the company’s appreciation for the contributions of the outgoing GCEO, Mele Kyari, and the former board members.

“We extend our profound appreciation to the outgoing GCEO, Mr. Mele Kyari, and the former Board Members for their selfless and dedicated service to the Company and the nation,” the statement read.

Soneye acknowledged Kyari’s leadership, describing his tenure as impactful and instrumental to the growth of NNPC Ltd.
“Mr. Kyari’s leadership and tireless efforts have left an indelible mark on NNPC Ltd., and we are sincerely grateful for his outstanding contributions,” he added.

NNPC Ltd. further wished Kyari and the outgoing board members success in their future endeavours, while pledging full support for the new leadership team led by Ojulari.
